The client is an American multinational manufacturer of tires for automobiles, commercial trucks, light trucks, motorcycles, SUVs, race cars, airplanes, farm equipment, and heavy earth-mover machinery.
Problem
With over 1,000 retail locations across the United States, America’s largest tire manufacturer was looking to hire retail store managers who could productively lead teams of associates, exceed targeted sales goals, and handle day-to-day operations (customer service, financial reporting, training, staffing, etc.) efficiently.
Solution
Shaker built a custom Virtual Job Tryout with a realistic job preview featuring company messaging and a video from the company’s CEO and high-fidelity simulations that allowed candidates to navigate sample financials and complete tasks required on the job.
Results
The candidates who scored highest on the Virtual Job Tryout had higher yearly store revenue, averaging $89K in additional sales. These candidates also sold an average of 15% more key services and 15 % more in preventative maintenance.
