I’ve been at Modern Hire for eight years, and that means I’ve had the privilege of working with some of our clients for many years. One such client is Newmont Corporation, a global leader in the Mining sector. As Newmont expanded as a company, so did its need to recruit around the globe. Their talent acquisition team embraced our job language feature, praising the ease with which it was deployed, so the interview experience could be offered in a language that meets the needs of the candidate.
Over their years as a client, we’ve partnered together to help Newmont’s talent acquisition team become more efficient and comfortable using our technology to gain a hiring advantage. We’ve worked with Newmont on integrations as they moved from one ATS to another, and then later expanded the ATS integration so all their talent acquisition resources globally could take advantage of the efficiency gains.
Newmont has improved efficiency across its recruiting and hiring teams, by saving nearly 900 hours in 2021 through on-demand video instead of manually scheduling and conducting phone screens. Their candidate survey results are also excellent, with 91% of candidates saying they are better equipped to determine if the role is right for them, and 97% of candidates saying that based on their experience, they would gladly tell their friends about employment opportunities at Newmont.
